The parent meeting is held in the assembly hall of the kindergarten. In advance, invitation leaflets were hung in the microdistrict for everyone (Figure 1.). Similar invitations were distributed among the parents of nearby kindergartens. We also invited specialists: a child psychologist, a narcologist, specialists from the city social and rehabilitation center for minors (Figure 2.). They spoke about the situation with the spread of child drug addiction, homelessness in the city, the psychologist spoke about the development of the psyche of children of preschool and school age, the features of communication with them, substantiated the need for anti-drug prevention already at senior preschool age.

Below is the final part of the parent meeting, at which I spoke about the features of the work on anti-drug education of children of senior preschool age in our kindergarten.

Dear moms and dads. I would like to start my speech with a small survey. Its purpose is to help you find out how well you know your children. All those present at the very beginning of the meeting were given three leaves of different colors. I ask a question, and you raise the leaves. If “yes” is a red sheet, “no” is green, “I don’t know” is blue (Figure 3.).

In answering my questions, many parents first thought about how well they know their children. I am also glad that there were many affirmative answers.

It is no secret that both in "problem" and in the so-called "prosperous" families there are misunderstandings, difficulties in communication between parents and children. In the future, close people are alienated from each other, and as a result, the child falls under the influence of the street. The task of the educator and specialists of the preschool educational institution is to teach you, parents to understand their children even at preschool age, so that neither one nor the other makes mistakes at a transitional age.

I suggest 3-4 people come up to me. Let's play a game. I ask questions and we carefully consider each other.

We looked at each other more closely and saw that we are different, not like anyone else. But we still have something in common. What? That's right, we are all human and this should not be forgotten.

This game is very good to use to make children aware of their individuality. In particular, I have it in the first, introductory lesson of the entire course.

Dear parents, how do you explain to children that if a person's hand, stomach or tooth hurts, then the whole body will stop working correctly? Many of you talk like adults. Therefore, I again invite 3-4 people from the audience for the next game.

We all join hands. We are distributing who will be some kind of internal organ, and who will be some part of the body. To my rhythmic count, we all begin to squat and stand up together. Squatted 3-4 times, then I slow down and deliberately start to squat faster than the others. Of course, everyone goes astray and our “organism” stops working properly.

This game is very good to convince children of the importance of taking care of their body and body in general.

However, our classes are not just aimed at educating children to strive for a healthy lifestyle. One of the tasks is to show the harm of drinking alcohol, but how to do this in kindergarten? Many adults are very frightened by this moment, will classes do harm in this regard? Believe me, none of us will ever harm children.

To convince you of this, I will give an example from an experience in an ecology class. Together with the children, we germinate beans in two different containers. When it sprouts, we start watering the sprouts. Some with water, others with diluted beer or other alcohol in small quantities. As a result, the children see clearly that after a week, the sprouts watered with alcohol die.

At the beginning of the meeting, the child psychologist spoke about the rules of behavior with the child, about the need to respect the personality in him from an early age. And now I want you tell a little story about a boy whose name was Seryozha. One day Seryozha woke up in a great mood. But then his mother yelled at him that he, like a kopush, could not get dressed for a long time. When Seryozha came to kindergarten, the boys did not take him with them to build a bridge, calling him clumsy. Katya said that he was a sneak, because she told the teacher about this. The best friend called Seryozha a greedy man, because he did not let him play with his new car.

When the teacher explained to the children that they were unfair to the boy, the children, of course, apologized and tried to make amends. However, the wrinkles in Seryozha's soul did not smooth out.

Remember, every careless word or hint leaves in the soul and on the face of a person, if not noticeable, but indelible wrinkles.

(This psychological technique requires a medium-sized circle of paper on which a face is drawn. In the course of the story, when the boy is offended, I gradually crumple the paper, and when I say that the children tried to make amends, I straighten the sheet and show indelible wrinkles.)

I use this story, first of all, in my work with children, but now, believe me, many of you also did not remain indifferent after what they heard and saw.

Then I offer parents a test, the results of which will be known only to them. First, we gave them sheets of paper and pencils.

Key to the test

Give yourself two points for each positive answer, one point for the answer “sometimes”. A negative answer will not earn you any points.

Calculate points. If you scored more than 20 points, then you are doing well in communicating with children.

If you have scored from 10 to 20 points, then the relationship with children is satisfactory, but insufficient, one-sided. Think about what can and should be changed.

If the result is below 10 points, it can be stated that you have not established contact with children.

In conclusion of my speech, I want to tell you a little parable: a man sat thoughtfully on the seashore and was sad. Suddenly, in the distance, he saw a small figure performing some simple dance. The man thought, who can have fun on such a sad evening? When he came closer, he saw a girl who was picking up stars on the shore and throwing them back into the sea. The man asked, “Girl, why are you doing this?” To which she said: "I bring the stars home." The man objected: “It is useless, there are millions of them, and you are alone. You can't help them." The girl replied: “Maybe I’m useless for everyone, but for one, this one, I did a lot, I gave her life back.”

So I am in my work, if I save at least one child from dope, then all my efforts will not be in vain.
